You just might want to park your car around the back for this show.
After viewing the pin striping, polished chrome, flames,
eye-popping color and other fancy detailing at the “The 3-Lefties”
exhibition at Sevengaits, your trusty ride might seem like such a plain
Jane by comparison.
A car-and-motorcycle graced opening reception for the show will be
from 7 to 11 p.m. tomorrow at the Sevengaits Project Space, 12 Crane
St., Southbridge. The show continues through July 26.
The three lefties are One Arm Bandit, a top pin-striper from
Connecticut who will show hot rods and hand-detailed motorcycles
outside the building at the reception; Cartooner, a Vermont-based
illustrator whose work regularly appears in major hot rod magazines;
and Jeremy Lee, a Worcester tattoo artist who specializes in
traditional images with a gory twist. Guest curator is Southbridge
photographer Cat Brousseau.
